Damian Launches LinkedIn's First New Jersey Municipal Court Practice Group.

Recognizing the need for a forum to discuss the critical issues facing the bench and bar on the LinkedIn Network, Damian formed the New Jersey Municipal Court Forum today. He hopes members of the group will discuss cutting edge issues such as:

• The implementation of the State v. Chun Decision involving the admissibility of the Alcotest in DWI prosecutions;
• The regionalization / consolidation of the municipal courts;
• The need for the standardization of so called "standardized field sobriety tests;"
• The legitimacy of Drug Recognition Evaluations (DRE)in DWI cases involving persons having a blood alcohol content (BAC) below a .08%;
• The criminal prosecution of bad check cases in the Municipal Courts as opposed to the civil courts;
